Today Abigail and Hala talk about a change in the men's magazine market.
It seems that lads mags are becoming less popular amongst men who now prefer different kinds of magazines.
Lads mags are a kind of magazine for modern men who are interested in women, cars and technology.
They usually have beautiful women on the front and many large pictures inside.
Lads mags rarely have long or detailed articles as readers like to look at the pictures and not read long articles.
These kinds of magazines were very popular but now there is a drop in sales of lads mags because men are looking for something different.
Many men are now interested in lifestyle and health magazines that give them more information about how they can improve their bodies and live healthier lives.
They also want to read more instead of just looking at pictures.
BBC Xtra English asked some men on the streets of London about the magazines they read and why they like reading them.

I do keep up with reading men or "Lads" magazines such as GQ, Esquire and sometimes Details, but since I can read it online, I kinda stopped bying it continuously to save money and storage

Actually, I encoraged to read more about health and sport magazines becasue they are full interesting and much helpful for many of us. Lads mags are useless becasue they concentrate on surface and not the truth which means focusing on pictures alone without truth or make an opinion even no advices or soloutions for nowdays problems so I prefer different kind of magazines but not lads mags.

I am interested in magazines concern about health, technology, and everything new that leads to better humans lives. I am afraid to say that lads, and fashion magazines don't make people insecure as long as they have enough self-confidence
